Title<\/b>: Snow Tennis [Oishi\/Eiji]
\nRating\/Warnings<\/b>: G for how cute Eiji is.
\nSummary<\/b>: Well obviously Eiji isn’t coming in just because of a little snow.
\nA\/N<\/b>: Written to entertain sarinthesky in a comment post. I can’t find the original post, but I think I wrote this really early in my PoT career. I THINK this was a thank you for her mailing me trading cards, so I used the date she put a post up about that. <\/p>\n

Snow Tennis<\/b><\/p>\n

Kikumaru Eiji braced his feet and watched the sphere coming towards him, tongue sticking out of the corner of his mouth in concentration. The ball had developed a bit of a wobble, but it couldn’t fool Eiji’s keen eyes, and he slid one foot back and took aim. At the optimal moment, he slammed his racket forward and connected.<\/p>\n

PIFF! The ball exploded in a shower of white, and Eiji crowed in victory.<\/p>\n

“Eiji!” Oishi called from the sidelines. “Will you get in here! Tennis practice is cancelled because there’s a BLIZZARD!”<\/p>\n

Eiji glanced over with a pout at his doubles partner, who was wrapped in a thick, puffy parka and holding out a scarf pleadingly. He was about to refuse–tennis snow was great!–but when he glanced across the court, he noticed that Fuji’s lips were turning just a wee bit blue, and Eiji didn’t fancy Tezuka making him run a thousand million laps for getting the tensai sick.<\/p>\n

“Fine!” he sighed, waving Fuji over before he jogged towards Oishi, catching as many snowflakes on his tongue as he could on the way.<\/p>\n

“Honestly,” Oishi muttered, wrapping the scarf around Eiji’s neck and throwing an arm over his shoulders to pull him close. “You’re freezing! You’re going to get pnuemonia!”<\/p>\n

Eiji snuggled against the warm Oishi with delight and vowed that there was going to be Snow Tennis every day if this was the result.<\/p>\n

“Eiji!” Fuji called, and Eiji turned to see him holding up the last snowball. Eiji looked up at Oishi hopefully, and Oishi sighed and dropped his arm. Cheering, Eiji gave Oishi a quick hug and dashed back to his side of the court.<\/p>\n
