\nAN<\/b>: Written for Shiritori. uh hi my team has 3 active people and i got banned from twitter last week so to summarize I’m the worst captain ever.<\/p>\n
It’s Off to Work We Go<\/b><\/p>\n
“These guys again?” Lea complained. He was hiding behind a tree, or at least standing behind it, because basically nothing in the Dwarf Woodlands was big enough to actually hide him. <\/p>\n
“Aw, they’re nice!” Ventus protested from his spot kneeling behind a bush, only half listening as he dug around in his backpack for a spare Ether. “What’s your deal with the dwarves anyway?”<\/p>\n
“I’m always afraid I’m going to accidentally step on one of them or kick one halfway to the moon,” Lea said, making a face. “And they sing that creepy song! It always gets stuck in my head.”<\/p>\n
“What song?” Ventus asked, face the picture of innocence.<\/p>\n
“The song!” Lea said. “You know!” Ventus blinked at him blankly. “The\u2026it goes like ‘Hi ho, hi hoooo\u2026oh, you little jerk<\/i>.” Lea broke off as Ventus burst into giggles. <\/p>\n
“I can’t believe you actually started singing it,” Ventus snorted with laughter. Scowling, Lea shoved Ventus with his foot, tipping him over. <\/p>\n
“Serve you right if I kicked you halfway to the moon,” Lea grumbled, looking over his shoulder at the woods sprawling out behind him. “And where the heck is Isa? Why do I have to suffer this indignity alone, huh?”<\/p>\n
“I’m here,” Isa’s voice came from their left. He appeared a moment later, his usual deadpan expression somewhat ruined by the leaves stuck in his hair. “Have the small men started their disturbing song yet?”<\/p>\n
“No, that was Lea,” Ventus explained, climbing back to his feet and dusting grass off his pants. Lea threw his hands up in exasperation. “What took you so long?”<\/p>\n
“There was some sort of possessed tree,” Isa reported blandly. “It slapped my rear.”<\/p>\n
“Uh\u2026.huh,” Lea said, while Ventus broke down laughing again. “I guess that’s how they say ‘hi ho’ here in the enchanted forest.”<\/p>\n
