\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Because I like singing duets with Taiga-chan,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Uekusa goes on, thinking that he could really nail it if he could just get a blush going, so he thinks about Taiga\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s long legs and sharp cheekbones and the way his hair is starting to brush his collar bones, and yeah, there it goes, perfect. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153You like it, right?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153I like it,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Taiga responds immediately, and then his words seem to catch up to his brain and he blushes a little himself. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I mean, the song, I like\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Taiga stops himself with a frustrated noise, flustered.<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Yay!\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Uekusa gives a little cheer. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s all solved then!\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Wait,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Taiga says, shaking his head as if to clear it, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153wait, wait, you didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t solve anything, all you did was\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n
And then Uekusa leans up to kiss Taiga\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s sharp, pretty cheekbone, because Shintarou\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s been complaining lately about Uekusa getting a little too pretty himself, and the only way to deal with situations like this, he\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s learned, is to fight fire with fire. <\/p>\n
It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s all in the name of self-preservation, he tells himself.<\/p>\n
