Life-Size

For once, Fuji was speechless, eyes wide open in surprise rather than bloodlust. Even his vampire cape, which had snapped dramatically as he answered the door, seemed to be dangling in confusion.

“Aah,” Kawamura rubbed the back of his head. “It’s a bit weird, isn’t it?”

“No,” Fuji shook himself a little, more of a shiver really, and his expression returned to his normal smile as he stepped outside and shut the door behind him. “It’s perfect, Taka-san.”

“Thanks, Fujiko.” Kawamura looked relieved, and Fuji snuck another look out of the corner of his eye as they started down the street to Eiji’s halloween party.

He’d have to make a mental note to ask where one actually found an adult-sized cactus costume.
