Totsuka’s been in Johnny’s a long time; consequently, his birthday is amazing. There’s congratulations and hi-touches and mails, and Ebikisu’s presents usually come from catalogs of ill repute. Totsuka generally has a terrific time.
This year, things are a little different. Totsuka opens the dressing room’s door and finds Hashimoto, wearing only a smile and a little cake with a strawberry.
Totsuka shuts the door. “You’re supposed to pop out of a cake.”
“They don’t make cakes tall enough.” Hashimoto drags a finger through the icing. “Come find your present?”
